Trust & Safety Policy

Effective Date: July 31, 2026

Last Updated: July 31, 2026

This Trust & Safety Policy explains how Good Shit Only™ addresses fraud, threats, harassment, exploitation, unsafe products, dangerous conduct, impersonation, account compromise, marketplace abuse, suspicious activity, emergency concerns, law-enforcement requests, investigations, reporting, and protective action.

Good Shit Only™ is operated by CrownThrive LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. In this Policy, “Good Shit Only,” “GSO,” “CrownThrive,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CrownThrive LLC and the Good Shit Only marketplace.

“User,” “you,” and “your” include buyers, sellers, service providers, affiliates, members, advertisers, visitors, account representatives, and any person using or interacting with GSO.

This Policy supplements and is incorporated into the Good Shit Only Terms & Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy, Buyer Protection & Buyer Rules, Seller Agreement, Product Safety, Recalls & Incident Reporting Policy, Community, Messaging, Reviews & Ratings Standards, Privacy Policy, and other applicable Trust Center policies.

By accessing or using GSO, communicating with another user, listing or purchasing an offering, attending an appointment, submitting a report, or participating in a marketplace investigation, you agree to comply with this Policy.

GSO may take immediate protective action when activity presents a credible risk of fraud, injury, exploitation, unlawful conduct, account compromise, evidence destruction, or significant marketplace harm.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Policy applies to conduct occurring:

  • On GSO;
  • Through GSO accounts, messages, listings, orders, reviews, support systems, affiliate links, advertisements, and integrations;
  • During an in-person or remote service arranged through GSO;
  • Through an external communication materially connected to a GSO transaction;
  • Outside GSO when the conduct creates a substantial safety, fraud, security, or marketplace-integrity risk.

GSO may consider relevant off-platform conduct when reliable evidence shows that the conduct materially affects users, transactions, marketplace safety, account integrity, or the lawful operation of the Platform.

2. Trust and Safety Principles

GSO seeks to apply the following principles:

  • Safety first: Credible risks of injury, exploitation, or serious harm may require immediate action.
  • Evidence-based review: Decisions should consider reliable information rather than unsupported accusation alone.
  • Proportionality: Actions should reflect the seriousness, scale, intent, recurrence, and available evidence.
  • Fair notice: GSO may provide notice and an opportunity to respond when doing so is safe, lawful, and practical.
  • Privacy: Reports and sensitive information should be handled according to legitimate operational and legal needs.
  • No retaliation: Users may not punish another person for making a good-faith safety report.
  • Continual improvement: Policies, controls, and enforcement may evolve as risks and marketplace operations change.

3. GSO’s Marketplace Role

GSO provides marketplace technology, listings, communications, checkout, payment administration, seller payouts, support, reporting tools, and enforcement systems.

Except when CrownThrive LLC is expressly identified as the seller or service provider, GSO does not manufacture third-party products, perform third-party services, supervise independent sellers, employ marketplace service providers, control carrier operations, or guarantee user conduct.

GSO may review reports and take marketplace action but does not operate as:

  • A police department;
  • An emergency-response service;
  • A court;
  • A regulator;
  • An insurer;
  • A private investigator for every user dispute;
  • A substitute for qualified legal, medical, security, or emergency assistance.

4. User Responsibility

Users must:

  • Act lawfully and honestly;
  • Protect account credentials;
  • Use reasonable judgment when purchasing, selling, meeting, or communicating;
  • Provide accurate information;
  • Follow product and service safety requirements;
  • Report credible threats or urgent concerns promptly;
  • Preserve relevant evidence;
  • Cooperate honestly with legitimate investigations;
  • Avoid escalating conflict or taking retaliatory action.

A seller, business, or service provider is responsible for the conduct of its employees, contractors, assistants, subcontractors, fulfillment providers, and other representatives.

5. Emergencies and Immediate Danger

GSO support is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee immediate review.

When a person faces immediate danger, violence, serious injury, fire, medical emergency, active exploitation, missing child concern, or another urgent threat, the person should contact the appropriate local emergency service or public authority.

After contacting appropriate emergency assistance, a user may also report the matter to GSO so that GSO can preserve relevant records and take available marketplace action.

Users should not delay emergency or professional assistance while waiting for a GSO response.

6. Violence and Credible Threats

GSO prohibits:

  • Credible threats of violence;
  • Solicitation of violence;
  • Instructions directed toward harming an identifiable person;
  • Celebration or encouragement of an ongoing attack;
  • Threats involving weapons, explosives, poisoning, arson, kidnapping, or physical assault;
  • Threats against buyers, sellers, reviewers, support personnel, or their families;
  • Use of marketplace information to locate or attack another person;
  • Commercial services intended to facilitate unlawful violence.

GSO may assess the specificity, immediacy, target, context, capability, history, and available corroboration associated with a reported threat.

Satire, fiction, artistic expression, news reporting, historical material, and rhetorical statements may be reviewed in context but do not receive protection when used to make a credible threat or facilitate real harm.

7. Harassment, Stalking, and Intimidation

Users may not:

  • Repeatedly contact a person after being told to stop;
  • Stalk or monitor another person without lawful authority;
  • Use multiple accounts to continue unwanted contact;
  • Threaten employment, housing, family relationships, immigration status, or reputation to gain an improper advantage;
  • Publish private information to encourage harassment;
  • Send degrading or abusive messages directed at another person;
  • Use reviews, chargebacks, reports, or legal threats to extort an improper benefit;
  • Organize coordinated harassment against another user.

A lawful complaint, honest review, refund request, intellectual-property report, or good-faith warning is not harassment merely because it is unfavorable.

8. Hateful and Discriminatory Conduct

GSO prohibits conduct that unlawfully denies, restricts, or burdens marketplace access based on a protected characteristic.

GSO also prohibits content or conduct that:

  • Promotes violence against a protected group;
  • Dehumanizes people based on a protected characteristic;
  • Encourages segregation or exclusion in unlawful transactions;
  • Uses slurs to threaten or harass an identifiable person;
  • Promotes violent extremist or genocidal ideology;
  • Targets protected groups through abusive marketplace conduct.

Historical, educational, documentary, literary, artistic, religious, political, and journalistic materials may be evaluated according to context, presentation, purpose, and risk.

9. Sexual Exploitation and Nonconsensual Conduct

GSO prohibits:

  • Sex trafficking;
  • Commercial sexual exploitation;
  • Nonconsensual intimate imagery;
  • Sexual extortion;
  • Sexual threats;
  • Hidden-camera sexual material;
  • Sexual impersonation;
  • Synthetic intimate depictions of a real person without consent;
  • Services facilitating sexual assault, exploitation, or coercion;
  • Solicitation of prohibited sexual services.

Consent to one use, audience, transaction, or relationship does not establish consent to another.

10. Children and Vulnerable Persons

GSO prohibits any use of the Platform to exploit, endanger, groom, traffic, sexualize, deceive, or abuse a child or vulnerable person.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Child sexual abuse material;
  • Sexualized depictions of minors;
  • Soliciting sexual content from a minor;
  • Grooming or arranging unlawful contact;
  • Trafficking or forced labor;
  • Unauthorized disclosure of a child’s location or sensitive information;
  • Fraud targeting elderly, disabled, cognitively impaired, or otherwise vulnerable persons;
  • Products or services designed to facilitate exploitation.

GSO may remove content, preserve account records, restrict access, and make legally authorized reports concerning suspected exploitation.

11. Self-Harm and Dangerous Challenges

GSO prohibits products, services, or communications that directly encourage, instruct, or commercially facilitate suicide, intentional self-injury, starvation, dangerous substance misuse, or other serious self-harm.

GSO may restrict:

  • Services encouraging self-injury;
  • Products marketed primarily for self-harm;
  • Dangerous viral challenges;
  • Content targeting a vulnerable person with instructions to harm themselves;
  • Commercial exploitation of an active self-harm crisis.

Educational, recovery-oriented, artistic, documentary, or supportive material may be permitted when responsibly presented and not used to facilitate harm.

12. Human Trafficking and Forced Labor

GSO prohibits:

  • Human trafficking;
  • Forced or coerced labor;
  • Debt bondage;
  • Commercial sexual exploitation;
  • Recruitment for exploitative work;
  • Sale of services performed through coercion;
  • Products produced through unlawful forced labor when known or reasonably apparent;
  • Transportation, lodging, payment, or advertising services intended to facilitate trafficking.

GSO may request supplier, employment, fulfillment, sourcing, or subcontractor information when credible exploitation concerns arise.

13. Fraud and Deceptive Activity

GSO prohibits:

  • Identity theft;
  • Payment fraud;
  • False listings;
  • Fake businesses;
  • Counterfeit documents;
  • Fabricated shipping or delivery records;
  • Refund and return fraud;
  • Chargeback abuse;
  • Fake investment, employment, housing, grant, loan, or prize schemes;
  • Phishing and credential theft;
  • Fake customer-service accounts;
  • Affiliate and advertising manipulation;
  • Any scheme intended to obtain money, property, data, access, or marketplace benefits through material deception.

14. Impersonation and Identity Misuse

Users may not:

  • Impersonate GSO or CrownThrive;
  • Impersonate another person, seller, buyer, business, government agency, charity, professional, or public official;
  • Create a confusingly similar support account;
  • Use another person’s name, image, voice, signature, or identifying information without authority;
  • Use synthetic media to fabricate an endorsement, instruction, transaction, or customer interaction;
  • Submit false evidence using another person’s identity.

Parody, commentary, fan activity, and artistic expression must not materially mislead consumers concerning commercial source, sponsorship, identity, or authorization.

15. Account Security and Compromise

Users must promptly report:

  • Unauthorized login;
  • Unexpected password or profile changes;
  • Unrecognized orders or payouts;
  • Changed PayPal information;
  • Stolen authentication codes;
  • Phishing;
  • Malware affecting the account;
  • Unauthorized administrator or team access.

GSO may temporarily restrict an account, cancel transactions, hold payouts, revoke sessions, require credential changes, or request identity verification while investigating a possible compromise.

Users may not knowingly conceal account compromise to complete or benefit from unauthorized transactions.

16. Marketplace Manipulation and Abuse

Prohibited marketplace abuse includes:

  • Fake orders;
  • Review manipulation;
  • Artificial traffic or engagement;
  • Duplicate-account abuse;
  • Coupon or promotion abuse;
  • Seller collusion;
  • Affiliate attribution manipulation;
  • False scarcity or inventory;
  • Manipulated shipping or service records;
  • Fraudulent complaint campaigns;
  • Using bots or coordinated accounts to damage a competitor;
  • Attempts to evade account restrictions, fees, reserves, or payout holds.

17. In-Person and Offline Safety

Users arranging an in-person transaction or service should use reasonable precautions appropriate to the circumstances.

Users should not:

  • Enter a location that appears unsafe;
  • Bring unauthorized persons into a private service setting;
  • Demand access to areas unrelated to the agreed service;
  • Carry prohibited weapons into an appointment;
  • Attend while materially impaired when impairment creates a safety risk;
  • Use a transaction to lure another person to an unsafe location;
  • Conceal known hazards at a service location.

A provider or client may end an interaction when reasonably necessary to address immediate safety, unlawful conduct, harassment, or material misrepresentation.

18. Service and Appointment Safety

Service providers must maintain appropriate:

  • Licenses and credentials;
  • Sanitation and infection-control procedures;
  • Facility safety;
  • Equipment maintenance;
  • Insurance where required;
  • Client disclosures;
  • Emergency procedures;
  • Employee and subcontractor supervision;
  • Privacy protections.

Clients must disclose material access, environment, allergy, mobility, animal, or safety information reasonably necessary to perform the service safely.

A GSO booking is not a substitute for professional credential verification or reasonable personal safety judgment.

19. Product Safety

Sellers may not offer a product that is recalled, banned, contaminated, materially defective, dangerously altered, falsely certified, or otherwise prohibited.

Sellers must:

  • Monitor applicable safety information;
  • Maintain sourcing and product records;
  • Provide required warnings and instructions;
  • Report known serious incidents;
  • Cooperate with recalls and buyer notifications;
  • Stop sales when a material safety concern arises.

Detailed obligations are established in the Product Safety, Recalls & Incident Reporting Policy.

20. Digital Products and Cybersecurity

Digital offerings and communications may not contain or facilitate:

  • Malware;
  • Ransomware;
  • Spyware;
  • Credential theft;
  • Unauthorized remote access;
  • Hidden cryptocurrency mining;
  • Data exfiltration;
  • Destructive code;
  • Phishing;
  • Unlawful surveillance;
  • Payment or license circumvention;
  • Other malicious or deceptively concealed functionality.

GSO may disable access to a digital product immediately while investigating a security report.

21. Privacy, Doxxing, and Sensitive Information

Users may not:

  • Publish another person’s home address, private telephone number, government identifier, financial information, medical information, or private communications without authority;
  • Use marketplace information to stalk or threaten a person;
  • Sell or distribute personal information obtained through GSO without authorization;
  • Expose a person’s location to encourage harm;
  • Request unnecessary passwords, complete payment credentials, or authentication codes;
  • Retain transaction information longer than reasonably necessary;
  • Use buyer or seller data for an unrelated unlawful purpose.

22. Suspicious Marketplace Activity

Suspicious activity may include:

  • Counterfeit or stolen products;
  • Unsafe or recalled products;
  • False seller identities;
  • Unexpected requests for off-platform payment;
  • Phishing;
  • Fake tracking;
  • Unusual payout changes;
  • Coordinated review manipulation;
  • Fraudulent account creation;
  • Threats or harassment;
  • Unlicensed regulated services;
  • Other conduct reasonably suggesting fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity.

High-volume seller listings may include additional electronic and telephone reporting mechanisms under the Seller Verification, INFORM Act & High-Volume Seller Policy.

23. Submitting a Trust and Safety Report

Submit a report through the Good Shit Only Help Center or the reporting mechanism displayed on the applicable listing.

A report should include, where available:

  • Your name and contact information;
  • The account, listing, order, message, review, or service involved;
  • A clear description of the concern;
  • Dates and times;
  • Relevant screenshots, photographs, files, or records;
  • Whether anyone faces immediate danger;
  • Whether emergency services or authorities have been contacted;
  • Any case or report number;
  • The protective action requested.

Anonymous reports may be accepted, but missing information may limit GSO’s ability to investigate or respond.

24. Evidence and Preservation

Users must not alter, fabricate, conceal, destroy, or substitute evidence.

Relevant evidence may include:

  • Listings and listing versions;
  • Messages;
  • Order and payment records;
  • Shipping and tracking records;
  • Digital-access records;
  • Service records;
  • Photographs and video;
  • Audio recordings lawfully obtained;
  • Product packaging and identifiers;
  • Account and device information;
  • Police, carrier, medical, regulatory, or incident reports;
  • Other reliable documentation.

Users should preserve disputed products, files, packaging, communications, and other relevant materials when safe and lawful to do so.

25. How GSO Reviews Reports

GSO may:

  • Review account and transaction records;
  • Contact the reporting party;
  • Notify the reported user;
  • Request documents or explanation;
  • Consult payment, shipping, identity, safety, fraud, or technical providers;
  • Review related accounts and conduct;
  • Preserve relevant records;
  • Restrict access while review is pending;
  • Refer the matter to an appropriate authority;
  • Close a report when available evidence does not support further action.

The review process and timing may vary based on urgency, complexity, user cooperation, legal restrictions, provider response, and available evidence.

26. Report Confidentiality and Disclosure

GSO may keep a reporting party’s identity confidential from another user when reasonably possible.

Complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when disclosure is:

  • Necessary to investigate or respond;
  • Required by law or legal process;
  • Necessary to prevent serious harm;
  • Required by a payment provider, carrier, insurer, regulator, court, or law-enforcement agency;
  • Necessary to allow a fair response to an allegation.

GSO may provide a summary rather than every submitted detail when appropriate.

27. No Retaliation

Users may not retaliate against a person for:

  • Making a good-faith report;
  • Participating in an investigation;
  • Providing truthful evidence;
  • Reporting a safety concern to an authority;
  • Submitting an honest review;
  • Seeking a lawful refund or remedy;
  • Declining an unsafe service interaction.

Retaliation may include threats, harassment, review manipulation, account targeting, discrimination, intimidation, or improper disclosure of private information.

28. False and Abusive Reports

Users may not knowingly submit:

  • Fabricated allegations;
  • Altered evidence;
  • Reports intended solely to damage a competitor;
  • Repeated reports after a matter has been resolved without material new information;
  • Reports used to harass, extort, or intimidate;
  • False emergency claims;
  • Reports made through impersonation.

An unsupported good-faith report is not automatically a false report.

29. Law-Enforcement and Government Requests

GSO may respond to valid subpoenas, warrants, court orders, emergency requests, regulatory inquiries, and other lawful government process.

Requests should:

  • Identify the requesting agency and authorized representative;
  • Identify the relevant legal authority;
  • Describe the records sought with reasonable specificity;
  • Provide applicable deadlines;
  • Use the legal contact information published in the Legal Notices, Contact Information & Policy Index.

GSO may challenge, narrow, reject, or seek clarification concerning requests that appear invalid, overbroad, unauthorized, technically infeasible, or inconsistent with applicable law.

GSO may be legally prohibited from notifying an affected user.

30. Protective and Enforcement Actions

Depending on the circumstances, GSO may:

  • Issue a warning;
  • Provide safety instructions;
  • Remove or limit content;
  • Disable a listing or digital file;
  • Restrict messaging;
  • Require verification;
  • Revoke sessions or reset access;
  • Cancel an order;
  • Restrict in-person services;
  • Block a user, device, payment method, payout recipient, or location;
  • Suspend or terminate an account;
  • Preserve evidence;
  • Notify affected users;
  • Report the matter to authorized third parties;
  • Take another reasonable protective measure.

31. Payment, Payout, and Transaction Actions

A trust and safety concern may result in:

  • Payment review;
  • Order cancellation;
  • Refunds;
  • Seller-proceeds holds;
  • Reserves;
  • Payout delay or cancellation;
  • Affiliate commission reversal;
  • Chargeback evidence preservation;
  • Negative-balance recovery;
  • Restriction of future transactions.

Financial action will be administered according to the Payments, Fees & PayPal Payouts Policy and other applicable transaction policies.

32. Appeals and Reconsideration

A user may request review through the Help Center using:

Trust and Safety Decision Appeal

The appeal should include:

  • The affected account or transaction;
  • The decision being challenged;
  • The specific factual or policy error;
  • Any new evidence;
  • Corrective action completed;
  • The requested resolution.

GSO may deny repetitive appeals that provide no material new information.

Certain immediate, legal, provider-directed, or irreversible actions may not be eligible for internal reversal.

33. Limitations of the Trust and Safety Process

GSO does not guarantee:

  • That all misconduct will be detected before harm occurs;
  • That every report can be independently verified;
  • That another user will cooperate;
  • That removed content will disappear from the internet;
  • That funds, property, data, or evidence can always be recovered;
  • That law enforcement or another authority will act;
  • That every dispute can be resolved internally;
  • That a verification badge proves future honesty or safety.

A GSO decision is an internal marketplace decision and not a final judicial, criminal, regulatory, medical, or professional determination.

34. Changes to This Policy

GSO may update this Policy prospectively to reflect changes in law, marketplace risks, safety practices, fraud patterns, technology, products, services, or operations.

The revised Policy will display an updated Last Updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through account notices, dashboards, listings, email, or another reasonable method.
